Things don't change much

I remember watching this video a few years ago and it is as true now as it was then. I was reminded of Rob Corrdry as I was speaking with some friends about Saturday Night Live the other night. I was also reminded how much more funny he is than most of the people on SNL. Another really funny non-PC one is entitles Racist Like Me. My social work friends would be so ashamed. I love Rob Corrdry when he's clean and hope viewers enjoy this little trip to the past.

Thanks for sharing that Jess. I am sitting here laughing out loud. My favorite part was when he got in his corolla to drive to the opposite end of his stretch hummer when we was washing it.

Very funny. But the amazing thing is that those kind of ridiculous gas guzzling, polluting vehicles are STILL popular. Would you believe that Ford just released a new SUV called the Flex, which is the most disgusting disregard for both the energy crisis and climate change. And I quote:

"The 2009 Ford Flex includes seven-passenger seating, including adjustable and removable footrests for second-row passengers. The second and third row seats fold flat into the floor. The vehicle includes a class-exclusive optional interior "mini-fridge" refrigerator in the middle console mounted between the second-row seats. A voice-activated communications and entertainment system, called Ford Sync, integrates the functions of cell phones, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, compact disc, DVD and other media players, navigation systems, and was developed in collaboration with Microsoft. The interior is lit with programmable "mood lighting" available in seven colors, along with a multi-panel Vista Roof, similar to that on the Ford Edge, for skylighting. The Navigation system has a built in hard drive for music and picture storage."

A mini-fridge and mood lighting? Give me a break?! Why not "runs on renewable resources" or "doesn't perpetuate the sky-rocketing price of oil?"

I swear.
